The Acropolis is the #1 attraction in Greece and the main landmark of Athens. Meaning ‘Old City’ in Greek, it is a complex site with over 20 different monuments and elements to explore. For that reason some people like to book a tour and a private guide for the Acropolis can add a lot of value to any visit.
Whether you’ve been before or it’s your first time it can be hard to process all the information out there. Be sure to check out our complete Planning Guide as well as our FREE 13-page downloadable itinerary.

What to expect
Christinas tours typically last for four hours. If you do not need all of that time she can take you around the surrounding areas explaining various points of interest. If you would like to see all of the main Archeological sites in Athens book her for the whole day and be prepared to do a lot of walking. The ancient centre is compact and mostly flat so its not too hard.
How to book her:
1. Email her at christina.christaki@hotmailc.om and check if she is available on the day/half day you have planned.
2. If she is book your tickets to the Acropolis at the official site. Time slots were introduced in 2024 to prevent overcrowding. We recommend going as early in the morning or as late as possible. You can read more about all of this, including prices, hours and other tips in our Acropolis & Acropolis Museum Guide.
3. Contact Christina again and let her know your time slots. She will co-ordinate a time and place to meet with you. Don’t forget to use the promo code ‘GTS’ for a 10% discount!
